Let the bug squishing begin!

Bug

Bob’s been a tad busy since we launched the new Remember The Milk; despite Bob’s best efforts, some sneaky bugs made their way into the new apps. :( We’ve been working to squish them, and our first two updates include the following fixes for the web and Mac desktop apps:

Version 1815 – February 15, 2016

  • Fixed an issue where entering more than 15 characters of Japanese text into the Smart Add field would cause Google Chrome 48 on OS X to use 100% of CPU (there’s an interesting bug in version 48 – other versions are unaffected). For our Japanese readers: Remember The Milkをご使用いただきありがとうございます。
  • Updated Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish translations.
  • Fixed a Spanish due date parsing issue.

Version 1809 – February 12, 2016

  • Made the ‘no connectivity’ dialog a lot less annoying by turning it into… not a dialog.
  • Fixed an issue where Pro expiration reminder dialogs were showing up for some users with auto-renew turned on.
  • Added English (UK) and Swedish (thanks, Raymond!) locali(s|z)ations.
  • Updated Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish translations.
  • Support high Unicode code point numbers in Japanese for in-line date detection in Smart Add.
  • Fixed repeat format parsing issues in German and Italian.
  • A lot of bug fixing and performance tuning behind the scenes.

We’ll be following up with some bug squishing releases for the mobile apps, too. Please keep sending your bug reports to Bob and the team, as we’d love to get all the bugs fixed. Of course, feedback and suggestions for the new apps are welcome too!

We’re a teensy, tiny bit swamped with emails since the launch of the new apps (but don’t let that stop you from sending more emails!). We’ve fuelled Bob with extra bananas, and are working on getting back to everyone as quickly as we can!
